Address all parts of your core in this strong class that will leave you feeling centered and stable. Recommended props: 1 block

Call it what you want but I'M call it a Level 3!!

As always - thank you

Nanette W.

-

This like level 4 lol

Lysette P.

-

I love Vytas’s classes but this is definitely a level 3, really challenging

Gaye T.

-

How wonderful, thank you so much!!!

Massie M.

-

I love Vytas’ classes. He is so thorough on everything. Walks you through step-by-step in intricate detail. My only request is that I wish there were more classes added to the library. I cannot get enough of what he has to offer

SHANNON B.

-

Great class! I'd really like to know Yogawork's criteria for labeling a class a 2 or a 3. I found this class to be similar to Vytas' Intensity 30, and it even had many of the same exercises, but that class is a 3. Regardless, any session by Vytas is an excellent workout and I'll be back.

Jennifer T.

-

Vytas, you son of a gun, you've done it again.

Joshua Z.

-

It's the first time I have er produced sweat in a yoga core class. It is a phenomenal session with a brilliant teacher. I will conquer Warrior 3!!

Helen L.

-

Epic class. Combine this with Vytas’ Core Burn & Upper Body classes and you’ll reach peak fitness in no time. Thanks Vytas, you’re the man.

Matthew W.

-

I have done this class once per week for the past 4 weeks and I can tell that I am getting stronger in my core. I like the simple instructions and straight-forward approach of the instructor. This class is a keeper!

Erika B.

-

It is challenging, but it is amazing to my body. I am feeling stronger everyday. I like Vytas bc he explains the part of the muscles that I am working out while practice yoga. Thanks!

Claudia K.

-

Level 2 1/2 :)

Paola D.

-

Vytas is really a "drill sargeant" with this class but I never felt so accomplished as when I finished this all the way through. Great. Please let's get more from him.

Rosalyn L.

-

Difficult and challenging class! Great talking through by instructor. My goal is to be able to complete the entire class without having to pause the video

Lisa L.

-

easy for instructor

Sarita C.

-

no. more like level 3. kicked my butt.

Or perhaps a 3.

Either case, this was nice!

Thank you, Vytas. I so appreciate your classes.

The condescending tone and impatience toward the student who obviously doesn't know the routine is each time upsetting to me.

I like your class. I might stop doing this one essentially for that.

As the title suggests, this class is a great core workout with strong pose holds. It isn't much of a yoga flow and there aren't any surya namaskar As or Bs however it is great for what it is.

Cheryl R.

-

Thanks. I like that I can hear his breath in between the calm, clear directions. I also like hearing the corrections to the demonstrator... since I was invariably making the same mistakes and it helped improve my postures. I find him very motivating.

Leanne J.

-

all your classes are amazing. WIth some of your practiceI access muscles I dd not know I had. I finish my practice feeling replenished, strong, and centered. Simply wonderful!

Angela A.

-

loved every minute of it...so challenging but there are moments to back off too. Thank you Vytas!!

randi h.

-

Challenging and effective sequence, but without any fancy moves or poses so I think you could easily modify by doing fewer reps and using knees during the planks. Excellent cues geared toward an intermediate/advanced practice. Not a flow class and I think the energy lags a bit in the middle, but it's worth it. His tone does not bother me.

Yana N.

-

As always Vytas delivers the goods with another challenging awesome sequence love it.

Taz B.

-

Very accessible and challenging at the same time. Thank you!

Sydni A.

-

This class flew by! amazing

Rafaela G.

-

This was a great core workout, but I agree with other comments that this instructors tone (especially with his assistant) is extremely condescending, at times bordering on inappropriate.

Savanah W.

-

I really felt every exercise and I really like your style of teaching.
Keep doing it!

Amalia K.

-

I definitely let out a few "Eff You's" & "No effing way's" but that's because I'm out of shape & out of practice. A few years ago, a younger, healthier me would have LOVED this class. Strong, core kicker for sure! :)

Debra R.

-

Waw, really intese, super class

Amalia K.

-

I think all levels can do this as long as you know how to scale for yourself. It is intense! But so strong. Although the focus is overall core, I still feel like it's a fairly well-rounded practice.

Joy H.

-

It is an awesome class... thank u so much Vytas

Lizbeth G.

-

Love it when I'm trying to relax/do something good for my body and I get verbally berated my online instructor... anyone else?!

Alane S.

-

noooup

Enjoyed the slow precise pace. Especially liked extension, flexion and rotation. He challenges and will do this class again.

Kay K.

-

I agree with many of the women who feel uncomfortable with the tone Vytas takes with female demonstrators. It definitely feels condescending. Corrections are fine, but no other instructor on this site (that I've encountered) makes these corrections feel so demeaning. I think this issue may have been addressed at some point, because not all of his classes are as problematic. Just.... a lot of them. Trying to ignore the tone and focus on the instruction can be difficult at times.

That being said, Vytas's directions are clear and to the point, his classes are very challenging, and I've encountered no one else on YogaWorks who takes this functional fitness approach to yoga. His classes help me find and correct imbalances like nothing else I've found, so I'll keep taking them.

Heidi B.

-

I agree with you 100%. His tone stressed me out. I took this class yesterday and had to stop midway because of the way he was treating the demonstrator. I was so bothered by it I came back today to see if others had the same experience. I've also never been adjusted before by an instructor's foot, which I think is a strange practice.

Iara P.

-

I agree, just did this class but this guy is not nice to the women he is working with. I can’t watch this video again!

Cicely W.

-

I love Vytas' style. I need the strong encouragement. I will push play on that one again.

Kelly S.

-

Another Awesome & so challenging workout by vytas! Thank you! xx

Josephine C.

-

It was a great workout but I felt he was condescending to the girl working out with him. Also he could use positive motivational comments and not lean against the wall with his hands on his hips to improve this class

Robin B.

-

I would call it a level 3 or at least a 2/3, but enjoyed the core kicking work out! :)

Debra R.

-

I understand that this is how some instructors motivate their students, but the power dynamic implied here didn’t work for me.

Laurie R.

-

Loved this class! It challenged me a bit, but it's completely achievable - stick with the poses and you get a brief respite in between each one that keeps you going. Great instructor.

Lisa J.

-

The core work was fine, but I was really uncomfortable with the way he was speaking to the woman. I didn't enjoy him criticizing her form in un-constructive ways ("see what she is doing? DON'T do that...") and telling her to "c'mon" over and over.

Stacia C.

-

the most important pose. yes needs to be there ... otherwise I enjoyed much. Thank you.

-

Very challenging but accessible class! I love the intense focus on the core, but it also felt like a great all around class, working all areas of the body. Just what I need to get my core back in shape after baby #2!! Thank you Vytas!

Amy G.

-

Really challenging but do-able workout routine. Not at all easy!!!!

Naomi W.

-

Wow!

Molly B.

-

Great workout.. but it felt more like a gym class than a yoga class....

Jannice S.

-

Found my way back to yoga b/c I've been having ankle issues while running. It's due to weakness in my core. I only made it half way through b/c I started it immediately after a hot run and I was already spent, but I look forward to making attempt 2 this evening... this is not a gentle post-workout cooldown ;)

MaryJo R.

-

Damn, Vytas. That was tough!

Huba K.

-

Yesterday my husband made a pic of me and I noticed my "winter-belly"...so I thought it was time to do more core work. It was an amazing sequence, challenging and accessible, really. I think, Level 2 fits. You did a good job, Vytas. Severe Thanks from Germany!

Yvonne B.

-

A new favorite!!!

Emma S.

-

This was my first online class and it was amazing! Worked my butt off from home and the instructor has a perfect balance between pushing your body to its limits and then knowing when to back off. It was awesome. Can't wait for more!

Savannah F.

-

This will hopefully become a biweekly staple for me!

Jennifer N.

-

Intense at times but the instructor provides space to be at ease. Just when you think you can't go longer...there is release. I like the class because it moves along fairly quickly so you are not laboring in you less favorite poses for long.

venice s.

-

Exactly what I wanted. Vytas' instructions are so clear that I never have to look at the screen while I'm practicing. The variations on classic core work are creative and therefore keep me interested and my body working, but they also flow easily. Vytas always uses the allotted time to its fullest, and one knows that if one is looking for core at 15 or 45 minutes, he's going to bring it. I still think this is a Level 2 class, because it's about strengthening the body with proper alignment; it's not fast or acrobatic, even if it's challenging.

Farrah K.

-

Definitely more like Level 3 than 2. A bit dry and to the point instructions, but effective core workout.

Jenni N.

-

Great sequencing - get ready for this one! Loved it.

Dominique R.

-

I have been practicing yoga for a couple years, and have noticed that often my core was too weak to do many poses, and I would hurt myself. After two weeks of only this class, my core is much stronger...side plank, piece of cake now!

Thomas H.

-

Challenging! I have some goals now! Level 2 or 3. It seems like the last table top to bum pull through was for sure a 3, especially after doing the whole class of core work already!! Whew! I'm beat and will likely be sore tomorrow!

Dawn M.

-

This class was awesome! Challenging, good lenght for someone who doesn 't have a lot of time and clear instructions like every class Vytas teaches. He's definitely one of my favorite teachers.

Ivette G.

-

An excellent class to strengthen the core.
Core work is not my favorite so I will definitely come back to this ;)
Personally I would have loved some more warming up and winding down at the beginning and end of class and a little bit of a slower pace to feel more integrated - other than that, great!

Marah L.

-

Wow! Wasn't sure what to expect but it was great and extremely challenging! I chuckled to myself when he said 90 more😁 . My day can move forward now. Thank you!

Anne O.

-

Hard core class, but it's worth!

Ana O.

-

yep, I'd say this felt like a level 3. during one exhale I definitely said out loud, "you're joking!?" really challenging but rewarding and the sequence built so logically, everything felt stronger.

Georgina D.

-

hard core class but easy to follow!

Monika K.

-

Will come back to this again and again. Thanks.

Jan A.

-

Holy f. Great class. More than I initially wanted to do on a Friday night, but ultimately glad I did it! Nice core burn and I expect to wake up a little sore tomorrow.
