I love coming back to a beginning class like this to slow down the flow and refocus on alignment. Very peaceful.
I have been dealing with frozen shoulder syndrome for a year and a half. My yoga practice has suffered greatly but I was able to stay fit with running, hiking, weights and stretching. This class was the perfect way to return to yoga as my shoulders begin to recovery mobility.

I used to be a level 2-3 yogini, but I stopped yoga about 4 years ago when I had a kid, and I never got back into it :( There was always a reason that I couldn't take the time out to make it to a class. My little one was napping when I took this class, and it was a PERFECT way to get re-acclimated to proper alignment and breath! Loved it!
My first yoga via online video. I loved this basic class. I really enjoyed all the small adjustments and explanations of why we are doing certain moves. Also enjoyed the routine.
This seems like a combination of other videos Ive done by Melanie and Im always looking for something new so it was a little disappointing for me, but still a good workout! I felt it was too easy for me, but I guess it did something because I was sore the next day.
This is a great, well rounded practice - perfect for a beginner or someone coming back to yoga after (too long) a break. Love Melanies style!

Yoga can improve your coordination and flexibility, and help you access a calmer state of mind. If you don't have a block, try a thick book. If you don't have a blanket, use a beach towel.
