Work on strengthening and opening up your hamstrings and hip flexors in your forward folds. Recommended props: 1 block

This is an intentionally slow flexibility class that definitely helps open those hips and hamstrings but will not work up much of a sweat. I liked the poses, but I felt there was a lot of talking at the end during the last holds and savasana, which was distracting.

Beautiful sequence and exactly the mellow, mindful, gentle practice I needed today. Do be advised, as other commenters have noted, this is definitely not a flow class. It's very slow and few moments of heat, but tons of valuable instruction and delicious opening. Also appreciate Alexandria's wit and subtle but wicked sense of humor.

A lot of forward folds and hamstring stretching in this class. It's more of a flexibility class than a flow class, which is great if that's what you're looking for. There were a few back bends at the end of class but I didn't think it was focused heavily on back bends.
