Thank you Melanie for such a great class. The directions are very clear and easy to understand. This was the best class I have seen here so far. Other instructors, even though they have good intentions, make yoga classes sound like anatomy classes that are really hard to follow as they use very technical terms and no simple analogies or examples for the lay people. Melanie strikes the right balance. These are yoga classes - not anatomy classes for medical students!
I enjoyed this class, the teaching style, the positive and friendly attitude, and the benefits both cardiovascular and toning. Just terrific!
This was my first yoga class in a few years and my very first class with My Yoga Works. I have not realized just how much my body misses yoga. By the end of the class, I was in tears and I fully believe it was my body's way of thanking me. Melanie is awesome and I can't wait to come back for more! Thank you so much!
I really love Melanie's teaching style. This is the second class I've finished on myyogaworks.com. The reason I subscribed was another 30-minute beginner class that she taught. The cues are so helpful! I really feel the movements better after I listen to her guidance and adjust my posture. Great pace, too. Just really quality classes. Thank you!

Whenever I see words like Power and Cardio in yoga classes I tend to shy away from them toward quieter practices. In doing this class, my heart rate was up but we were flying through poses without thinking, it was mindful and a great workout too. Melanie is quickly becoming my favorite instructor on the site!
I'm surprised by how quickly this class went. Really helps you realized how in only 30 minutes you can get a lot in. Through this challenge I can already see how easy it is to fit some yoga into my schedule every day.
This is the first workout I have done here on My Yoga Works and I loved it. I wanted to stop halfway through but pushed myself to complete it and I'm glad I did. Great cardio workout!
Loved this class from Melanie! It's similar to the Quick Beginner's Cardio class in that you build heat by holding strengthening poses instead of moving quickly through vinyasas. You warm up on the floor on all fours followed by some standing poses (chair, warrior II, etc.). There's some core work at the end (half-boat) before you cool down. I feel worked but not tired at all. Would love to see a longer version of this class -- something in the 40-45 minute range.
Was an excellent start to My Yoga Works. As I embark on embracing more yoga into my life as a new retiree, this was a very good set of poses to integrate into my daily routine.
This class was what I needed to start my morning! I really feel great! Looking forward to more:-)
I do level 2 and 3 yoga often on My Yoga Works. This is a perfect 30 minute flow class to invigorate you and get the blood flowing and not feel like you have overdone it if you have a busy day ahead. I really like Melanie's classes and cheeriness!
