Twists can increase the pumping action of your body, stimulate your abdominal organs, strengthen your back and abdominal muscles and are great for your digestive system.

This class is slow paced with a lot of attention paid to setting up the poses which makes it feel more like a Level 1/2 and also doesn't give it a sense of flow. It's also very light on the vinyasas, which you can work around if you wanted and add them in yourself. I like the teacher's voice and cues, but just found it a little too slow going. She also doesn't really tell you ahead of time what poses you're working toward which is frustrating if you're a more seasoned student and don't need the step by step set up.
Twisted triangle and twisted warrior 3 are challenging poses for my body, so this was a helpful practice. My only feedback would be to make it a full hour and do more warmup twists and/or IT stretches before twisted triangle.
Good class to do early in the morning before heading out to work - I always love a good twist. Thank you.
After waking up stressed from a bad night's sleep, this class helped tremendously with unwinding knots and lightening my body. I feel ready to start my day!
I enjoyed this class and Lakshmi precise and well paced teaching. I only have one comment about the fact that most of her attention and direction was for the 'models' in the class. I would prefer to hear her talk to me/us rather than point at the people in the video and refer to what they're doing so much. Other than that I thought this was a well balanced practice (I added a couple of back bends a the end myself)
Love your teaching style, and now that I do not live near the Walnut Creek studio I really look forward to taking your classes online. Please do more online videos.
This is definitely a level 1 video! Pretty disappointed, had to stop mid class...
This practice helped to open up my spine and strengthen my abs. Instructions were clear enough that I did not need to look up at video too many times. Would have preferred to add 5min to my practice to include a guided centering in beginning of video.
