Learn to correctly practice puppy dog, a modification for downward facing dog.
I am intentionally rotating the tricep down, squeezing the thighs towards hamstrings during inhale and it feels great and much more natural. But during exhale do I let go of the intention and just relax or keep the tension in the muscles all along ?
Thank you for the tutorial. It seems to be very helpful to recover from my tight neck/shoulders after an injury.
It would be great if the videos supported Google Cast or if there was a Roku app. That way I could view them on my TV instead of my phone.
10 years on the mat. More recently though, 7 years off! As I welcome myself back, I'm finding these videos very helpful and encouraging to refresh my mind and body of foundational poses, including breath. This journey is a wonderful reminder no matter how long one's been practicing! Thank you!

Please, please. More Iyengar yoga.
i want to do light yga stretch
I am 80 years old. I did a lot of yoga when I was younger and loved it. I am innately flexible and limber but since I have not done Yoga or much exercise I have become extremely stiff!! So am most thankful for this opportunity this next year to loosen up , to say nothing about the peace that Yoga can bring! Thank you !
I have lower back pain and have had overall back discomfort for over a year now immediately I felt the stretch in my lower back area. I am excited to move forward. 3 min video and I was about to sweat. Very out of shape but I am excited to change that. Great short and simple starter for a newbie.
I wanted to learn to do yoga for years and I'm hoping these videos will teach me the names of the poses and help with Stress Weight Loss and Stretching while having some fun
Cues are decent but you haven't gotten your two models into a strong, dynamic position that creates space inside the body. Plus, what's the dull, lifeless look of the models? They look like mannequins. I've seen this in most of the Yogaworks videos. Lighten up! Yoga should be fun and real.
I've done yoga on and off for a decade or so. But my results have been questionable so far.
With the Puppy Dog I thought, "Hummmm....I've done Downward Facing Dog a lot before, this should be easy." But yet I seem to have had pressure in my lower back and I could have sworn that my body wasn't making that nice "L" shape that the yoga instructors were making.
PS: I signed up for Yoga Works because I fly around the world a lot and have to get exercise in hotel rooms...and I'm trying to work on controlling high blood pressure.
I love the simple but clear straight forward tips! I already see small ways I can improve ;0)
