I did not know what I was expecting, but I absolutely loved the challenge. It was just basic poses and felt bit more like Hatha, but definitely was Power Yoga at same time. I enjoyed the challenge and the 29 minutes passed by so fast. Thank you!!

Love this series of power yoga, I’m a beginner who started these a couple of months ago, after recovering from a serious illness, I’ve never been so fit and strong in my life, 3 months of this class I have achieved more results than 20yearsof going to the gym ! I feel like I got just as much work as I would in a 60 minute flow. Great instruction, flows nicely, is a good switch up from normal sun salutations. Definitely sweaty! Breath builds heat!

Vytas is one of our top two instructors in my household, and this class did not disappoint. Nice and challenging for a Level 2 class, even for anyone who is a lifelong athlete. Very doable at 30 minutes -- you could even do it twice for a longer practice.

Great workout. Was slightly distracted by his initial comments in the 30 min workout about one model as though she wasn't there. Some comments take away from the flow as if it was competitive but I do appreciate that he pushes you to work hard.

I absolutely agree with the previous comment, Vytas isn't rude at all! He's a fantastic instructor that challenges his students. Sure, some folks might miss wish he used a more inclusive language, but that doesn't mean he's rude.

had to comment in response to the comment that Vytas is rude. he's really not. he's a great teacher who pushes students not to be lazy. he said 'great job' and 'I'm proud of you' repeatedly. the 'most people' reference was that 'most people find malasana to be a relaxing pose.' hardly rude.

Just had a baby 11 weeks ago and this is a great way to ease into my practice again. Vytas is my favorite instructor - in each class he says something that I use as a mantra (on and off the mat) this time... functional poses are the best poses (or something like that) i'm not going to need to put my leg behind my head while caring for my LO but staying grounded? breathing deep? You bet! Love this!

But the instructor sounds like a condescending bro. He is the rare type of yoga instructor that seems to revel in the power dynamic of himself as drill-sergeant master holding his students and the models "accountable." I guess some people like that and to each their own. Personally, I like the rigorous workout but don't love the vibe of his voice. I may just do it without sound next time.

I get the same vibe as James with many of Vytas' classes...like he's almost scornful of the whole thing. But I really like his focus on fundamentals nonetheless...and I LOVE this particular class. He's a tough task master, but I really feel good when I'm done.

Absolutely a butt-kicking basics class. Perfect as a jumpstart in the morning for a home practice. I also liked Vytas' instruction this class. Usually I find him very aloof, almost to the point of wondering whether he even wants to be in the class. Not so with this video. He was engaged, regularly cueing posture pointers, and encouraging to stick with the long holds. I really appreciated the shift!

At 17 minutes I had to stop for several minutes to catch my breath and stop feeling nauseated. Then I started again and finished. I'm not sure that I enjoyed the class but I do realize I can't get stronger without doing a lot more than I've done so far. My biggest challenge is still getting my foot from downward dog to my hands. By the time I get it there Vytas and the models are several steps ahead, which raises my frustration level and lowers motivation to continue. I did, but I think it will be quite awhile before I get to the next level !

Like Vytas says, if you were looking for restorative yoga you wouldn't have picked a Power Yoga class. This is a great class touching on some of the basics with a little more power involved. I'm fairly used to Vytas' tough classes and although this was not overly challenging, I always like revisiting the basics. This was a perfect afternoon pick-me-up. I must say I have to disagree with the comment about it being too fast. I've done several Power Yoga classes and my HR always increases to a point. So somewhat aerobic, yes. But just listen to Vytas' instructions and you'll do just fine. Thanks Vytas!

I am doing this yoga power yoga , and from what I know power yoga is more slow. the third part was fast like ashtanga yoga. Power yoga is not so fast, It is not the point to get heart attack. THe teacher could be more patiant and more caring.... helping with modofocations also, Mr. Vytas is not so plaisant for me; well this series power itsmore frustrating the way he is doing . Do you have any yoga nidra at the end of practise in your site? Namaste , I will see power yoga 4 but POWER yoga and any yoga HATHA YOGA is not aerobic. Thanks for understanding.
