The final chapter in the power yoga series will challenge your mind and body in a full ninety minute class! Recommended props:
Nice. Didn´t miss those vinyasas a bit!
Amazing class! I worried when Vytas warned that 90 min at home, on line at this level is hard... But I took the risk and made it all the way through. Excellent sequence, instruction, encouragement plus a little dry humor. Thank you! I'll try this class again until it's 'easy'!
Shaking from the first down dog! Strong and steady. Great class!
Great class. Calm voice. Nice sequence. Holding the asanas for a longer time is really beneficial as you start to understand how each posture “works” in physical and mental level. I really prefer this style than just jumping from one pose to another..
Vytas mentions at one point during this flow that the postures are challenging for everyone, whether one has been practicing a year or 10 years. I've been practicing a decade and usually stick to the level 3 classes on here, and this was POWERFUL! Such a testament to the efficacy and heat generated from fundamental postures. I really appreciated the super sweaty but very accessible sequence. Those long holds and that slow burn, though. Would love more 90 minute practices from Vytas.
When I'm feeling motivated to work hard with a sweat, I turn to Vytas!! His classes leave me feeling strong, both mentally & physically. His instruction keeps me focused and mindful til the end. His classes in Santa Monica are ALWAYS full... because he's one of the best around!! **When I'm feeling less energized and/or looking for a more relaxing, meditative class, I usually go with other instructors.
I'm surprised by this abundance of negative comments regarding Vytas after so many of his classes. He is clearly one of the best instructors here, and definitely THE best among those with that many classes available on this website. All his classes are strong and demanding with clear instruction, logical sequence and helpful tips. He has to keep standing for almost 90 min in this class without doing any demonstration - this is the way all classes are structured here. Of course he is leaning against the wall or crossing his legs sometimes to give them a break! I stand a lot in my job, so I understand how he feels. Vytas, please don't be discouraged by these comments, I wish all instructors at Myyogaworks (or anywhere, for this matter) were like you! Thank you!
Good strong power sequence. Enjoyed as long as I didn't look at the video. Was put off a bit by Vytas' stance through most of the class. I'm sure this is not what he intended, but leaning against the wall like that with arms and legs crossed makes it seem like he is bored with teaching and not really engaged with the class.
Reading a lot of similar comments with his other videos and now I don't even want to try his classes anymore :/
This class was such a perfect challenge, yet slow strong sequence, it truly gave me exactly what my body craved. A break from fast vinyasa flow (which i love) to really working the strong postures, to truly melt into them. I felt awakened, open and blissful at the end, thank you
Clear and concise instructions guided me through the 90-minute class with proper alignments and grace and power. Will definitely take again! Thank you Vytas.
Namaste Vytas. I have so enjoyed the power yoga practice with you. Thank you so much for not talking everyone into a comma. Hugs and until we practice again🙏
Love 90 minutes with vytas. great class
This class was awesome.
Vytas has the best classes, and this was no exception! No overly complicated postures, but the sequence and longer holds get your heart pumping! I have been practicing for 8 years consistently and this still gave me a great challenge.
I would love to see more 90 minutes classes in general too!
Thank you Vytas!!!!
I miss taking his live classes. Phenomenal teacher!!!!
excellent full length class. I absolutely love vytas' classes
Perfect amount of instruction and silence. Key allignment points and strong holds really let you get into the practice in the moment. Well paced well balaced. More like this!!
Thank you Vytas
Need more 90 mins challenge class like this !
Not a big fan of the teaching style.
It was my first time taking an online class and, at first, I didn't believe I could do it. I tend to get distracted very easily, but I am very happy to say I DID IT! Perfect pace and great instruction. The instructor even spoke in Portuguese: my native language! That was super exciting!
One of the things I like most about this class is that it builds tremendous strength (and even provides a bit of aerobic benefit) through long, thoughtful holds of basic poses. Another is that it's so well sequenced that time flies; I couldn't believe I had been practicing for nearly an hour and a half when it ended. I wish MyYogaWorks had more classes like this one, because it's not possible to get the same benefits from the short classes; a well-designed extended class like this one allows the practitioner to observe her growth over the course of the practice and to harness the strength and openness gained to do even more. Thank you, Vytas.
This is a nice challenging class. I definitely broke a sweat. And already saw an improvement the second time around. Perfect pace. Thank you.
This class is excellent. Long holds, solid cueing, very strong. I appreciate Vytas' instruction and how connected his classes get you to strength and core. Thanks!
This class delivers what it promises. It is definitely a challenging class. I was able to do everything that Vytas instructed us to do and broke a sweat at around 60 minutes. I think the class is well constructed, and can be personalized since there is time in between he poses. Ex I added some Vinyasas instead of always holding Plank pose and added some reclining twists and a supported shoulder stand at the end. I think Vytas is obviously a great, seasoned teacher (I teach too) so I don't mind sharing that I am not too keen on hearing that 'this is hard' mantra. or that what I am doing is hard, and these are hard poses, etc. The word "hard" is constantly being brought up. I I have found that mentally, it doesn't help me. I'd rather thing ;easy', 'doable', maybe challenging but "I got it", 'effortless'. The mind responds to commands so why not give it the ones we want to achieve/feel/experience rather than making it even harder on ourselves by reaffirming how I wonder if it's just be an ego thing .to think that i worked hard so I deserve a reward or I can feel good about myself. ust a thought...
Very interesting feedback- I do agree with you!
