loved this! the bridges didn't feel great for me, but that was an easy adjustment
I'm at 24 weeks and this class is just what the doctor ordered. There is a good amount of movement combined with really lovely stretching of quads, hamstrings, hip flexors, side body, and back body. If you like Jesse's other classes, you'll probably love this one, too.
11 weeks and this was the perfect class for coming out of that wretched First Trimester fatigue. Lots of yummy stretches plus a bit of heat building for those wanting it. Also, I loved how Jesse would react to the stretches, made me soak them up even more! <3
Jesse is very funny during this class- very real :)
It is a good workout.
I liked this real talk approach. Great flow and a nice variety of postures.
My body - specifically my back - was so grateful I did this today. Thank you, Jesse! (On a personal note, during my first pregnancy, I found her manner sort of impertinent. Second time around, it’s refreshing. She speaks the truth ;)
I'm 39 weeks and this is just what I needed to start my day! Jesse's classes are awesome and I love her honesty throughout. Really miss taking them in person...Any chance I could get her to move to the East Coasr?! :)
The class was, good, but def not a level 3. The teacher has a very irritating voice and way of speaking. I'll stick to Patti's classes
Did she say and I miss it? I am really curious. For as far along as she is, I think this a Level 3, but it's not HER regular level 3. I am in my first trimester, and I think I am being too careful, but it was A GREAT class even if it wasn't as strong/sweaty as my normal practice.
Loved the modifications, enjoyed the practice. I would not call this a Level 3, though....
Thanks for sharing your home practice with us!
joyful and invigorating!
Mostly a good sequence, but wish the teacher gave better modifications for 3rd trimester mamas - especially in savasana! Most women won't find either of the poses she offered comfortable in the 3rd trimester....the body needs to be more upright to take the pressure off of the vena cava.
Loved this and did find it warming through the sun B series. At 36 weeks I'm still practicing daily but some additional modifications that could be added as an option is using a bolster in single pigeon under your hips so your front leg lines up with the long side of the bolster this allows you to fold forward still while supporting your hips.
Also love the block set up in savasana I just now place a bolster on top of the blocks so it isn't as intense and I'm able to relax and surrender easier.
Just some ideas for mamas to be out there :) Nameste
This was my first class on myyogaworks. I enjoyed the class very much however i would not consider this a "sweaty vinyasa flow" as described nor did it seem like a level 3. I was looking for a good workout however the class did leave me feeling very open which was nice.
I have tried many prenatal yoga classes (mostly online) and it's tough to find prenatal classes that give you a workout and not just a stretch! I am really enjoying this video and my only wish is that Jesse had more prenatal classes.
This class is great. I love Jesse's other classes on myyogaworks and have been practicing at home "with" her for about year. I really enjoy her more rigorous but fun approach . I'm so happy to be able to continue practicing "with"her in this prenatal video. Thank you for sharing !
