Caley has excellent instruction and articulates micro adjustments really well. Unusual class with the criss-cross, but one that I enjoyed. Parts of the class that build heat, parts that bring stillness and focus. Somewhere between level 2 and 3 for me. Really enjoyed it. I've learnt or become aware of something new everytime I take one of Caley's classes.
This is an excellent class for the end of the day. It had just enough strength and movement to receive a well-rounded practice. But it also allowed for stillness and connecting. Thank you :-)
too slow, and i agree- not level 3 at all, misleading.
first off, it's great that you don't have music on the videos, it makes it less annoying when playing more than once. I can score my own class by playing music on a player of my choosing same time.
i just took this class and i would say to categorize it as a level three is probably incorrect. level two is about right. it's important to categorize these correctly as once you commit to a class, you don't want to stop half way and try something else.
also i don't see 'flow' or 'power' as categories to choose, which would be helpful; when i would do a 2/3 with Vinnie or sean at a yw studio that was the standard expectation. steady flow while specializing in this or that. the above class, while good, had a moderate amount of flow and didn't quite achieve the intensity one would expect from a level three.
This was a great practice to finish the day off. The criss cross movements both cleared my mind and allowed my body to naturally find its alignment again after a long day. thanks!
